Singapore Leisure Travel~Boss Hotel Review ~ Lavender, Cityhall Highlight
Seeing worlds in cheer and joy, is such a treasure joy of my holiday getaway .
During the sweet season of this year on May , I visited Singapore again.
While clicking on searching button for accommodation ~I was no hestitate much selecting ~ The Lavender , Singapore~ that for my pleasant repeating visits.

Located at Lavender Central that The Boss Hotel with Neighbourhood of endless light spots and combined with busy but plesant silent in nightime , so that it is so much lovable for many travellers.
Besides , the Lavender area features in many of late closed food outlets and easy traffic route connecting to the city centre and main attractions which giving travellers for comfy travel experience .
Walking through the elegant lobby hall, the flexible design of lift lobby links to the doorway of car park and Taxi Zone.
On each of the corrider floor is equipped with modern decorate , soft lighting and clear directory.
Just the time arriving at my room, I gladly met the house keeping manager giving me a warmth greeting, who just performed his duty of room inspection.
I pleasantly noticed my room was bright with lighting , and clean with acceptable size as a regular business hotel at Singapore City .
Also, the modern design furniture , decor and the well-supported double bed were so much impressed me.
Moveover , the room is not only equipped with big plasma TV with a variety channels , but also it contents a good city view that be great for the sunrise view.
While The bathroom is spacious , and with strong water pressure , much enjoyable for a refreshing shower time after long hours Travel .
After that, I opened up the side door to the balcony for Chilling out. That I noticed it was unexpected large enough for a good sport, having street view and catching the 1st sunrise .

By the way , I had scheudled my dinner with my friends at 7pm, still have 6 hours for exploring around .
Then , I went down to 4/F of mid-level sky garden level with the Gym room & Pool garden .
For The Glass-Gym room eqipped with a variety of working out accessories and facility .
Besides, , the sizeable pool rounded with many relaxing sun chairs & green woods that I would manage coming down there tomorrow for having water joy .
While I mostly love the cooly spacious garden , installed with relaxing garden courts with sunflowers style furniture and surrounding round with many greenish plants .. such a great comfort lay. That’s a good place for gathering & nice talks for guests .

The Hotel cafe restaurant on the both G/F and 2/F floor where my next door family guests gave me a highly recommendation on the 2/F ( Hala Food option ) for nice breakfast where features with wonderful ambience of charming decor and lighting.
As for the hungry calls from my stomach urging me for a big meal , still , I would like to have a near walk , for some of the local delights.
Such amazing , there are many food outlets just next to the hotel . That , I noticed one of small size of food court ~ Foodclique just right the hotel front with many Travellers enjoying their meals.
Well , the most wonders of the Boss hotel is to bringing the Famous Founder Bak Kut Teh be its Neighbour!!
Great known for black pepper Pork bone soup /Bak Kut Teh . I had been their branch at The Blastier Road , much impressed their pork soup and their side dishes .
For surly I paid a visit again there ~ at the Founder Bak Kut Teh.

For more than 50 years of golden history of the Black Pepper version of Founder Bak Kut Teh , widely providing many of soup and meal options ; for soup ~ eg : mushroom soup , Sliced Fish soup; eg : for meal ~ soup with rice or noodles ; for side dishes: Fried Beancurd, Salted Veg ; for main dishes:~ eg Steamed fish , Steamed Minced Meat , Soy Sum With Oyster Sauce… etc.
As for the desire of my appepite , I had :~ Preimum Short Ribs Soup , accompanied with smoothy rice noodle and 2 large tasty side dishes ~ the great popular Fried Beancurd and the Salted Veg.
My favourite Black Pepper Verion Bak Kut Teh:~ features with clear soup base in full flavour of braised meat and spicy combination , with good nutrient value that giving credit on these hearty cooking.

Lavender MRT Station Food Town
There are 3 kind of public transport to reach the city central or near by , like CityHall or Bugis , for instance~ : ~ Bus, MRT and Taxi .(Taxi just cost $7 to $8 /within $10 to Bugis at the flat rate ~ Charges different after 6pm.)
For bus stops , just 2 minuates walk from Hotel Boss ; whereas for the Lavender MRT station , it only takes 5 to 8 minuates walking distance. Just all the way down that you would notice there are so many greenish guiding your way.

Walking down to the Lavender MRT area , surprisinly , you would find high desnesity of eatries from food courts to cafes, bars, offering a variety food choices days and nights . I could apply 2 words to describe that ~ “Food Fare”.

Eg : the dry wonton noodles , Fried carrot cake , Fried/Char kway teow, Laksa, Yau To Fu (Stuffed ToFu , & veg with soup noodle), finely double stewed soup and iced desserts etc.
In among of those local dishes , my most favouite is the herbal soup house ~ The Double Boiled Soup .

During my every visit, I would like to drop by having that yummy soup specially :~
Apple Pear Pork soup ~ good for skin beauty , reducing body hear and stress relief ; or the old cucumber pork ribs soup ~ stregthen immune system , reducing body heat and good sleep.
After all, the food streets extend to a few more inner streets with for more foodoutlets , supermarket (NTUC), convenience stores , Hotels , Inns and backpacker hostels.
Besides , the Jalan Besar Plaza is also be my favourite spots for variety of good food and value pricing.

The City Hall
from Lavender to CityHall , it takes MRT , only a few minuates for 2 stops distance.
*Green Line from Lavender to Bugis ~ then transfer to Cityhall.
City Hall , located at the City Centre , features with large business and shopping complex connecting to 4 large shopping malls ~ Citylink , Raffle City , Suntec City and Marina Square .
Besides, the location surround by many of the main attractions :~ eg the Melion Parks, Espland & river bay etc.
In among these 4 shopping complex/towns , I mostly spent my times at the Raffle City , specially , the underground food street where centre with a beautiful marble fountain.
The foodstreets combination Of foodstores and shopping with widely selection from Take-away stores , Viet noodle house , Burger (Mos Buger), cafe , Korean food , Fine dinning Restaurant, Buffets etc ., to drug & beauty stores and a big supermarket.

We walked around of the food street, then we dropped by the Soup Spoon Union . As for it offers grill dishes & soup dishes with combination set meal .
It is a causel but comfortable cafe grill bar offering a twist enjoyment of ~ Creative version western culture food.

The Chicken Combo (Chicken & Pork )Grill dishes of mine & Emily ~
Good quality of Grilled chicken thighs and pork loin with honey BBQ silzzing flavour . We were glad that the meat dishes with less oil but easy craving , juicy and tasty!
While my side Dish of smoothly potato mash with potato chunks , dipping with Japanese Bonzu Miso sauce just unbeatable ~ fruity sweet slightly sour mixed with rich Miso Savour .
For Emily of her creamy potato mash with mushroom sauce , was wonderful with nutty sweet and creamy sauce with mushroom chunks . It was much pleasing for a mushroom Dish lover like her.
Besides, the generous portion of garden Salad and French fries gave us surprising delicious.
For the , mushroom soup, we were happy that the TOP choice Soup with very promising for the quality , Rich flavour of mushrooms with slight garlic buttery taste.
Another, for Jane’s Sandwhiches Set~
The golden Orange Big bowl of finely stewed Pumpkin Soup with slightly onion flavour but much creamy sweetness . Meantime , side of a dinner bun with cream cheese or butter spread enhancing extra depth of the soup flavour.
While the 1/2 sandwiches of Smoke salmon gives delicate texture of fish with mild flavour; and the pairing with fresh herb (alfalfa), tomato ,
red onion , lettuce and lemon drill sauce , creates a revitalising mouthful taste.

After our delightful dinner , we would like having a walk at the river Bay.
Going back to the underground junction of Cityhall MRT station , we walked to the CityLinks Mall.
The CityLinks Mall is a huge , energetic mall , housed of many eateries and shops , also connecting with the massive shopping complex ~ The Suntec City , international Convention and Exhibition Centre together with the yellow line few stations of The Esplanade, the Bayfront (Marina Bay Sands Casio Mall & Hotels) etc.
Then , our destination was the River Bay at the Esplanade around the Melion Parks

Along with the direction sign ~ The Esplanade ~ we turned into an exhibition path ~ the Singapore cultural artistic showcases .

Walking through the exhibition halls and shops , we went down to the 2nd gate near the outdoor auditorium .

Immediately, we met Up with the relaxing jazz music spreading from those cheerful delicated cafe bars with stunning night glows.
We gladly joined the happy Rhythm with everyone there under that exciting and joyful ambience.
Heading down to the outdoor auditorium where held up a cultural music fair ~ we sat down there for a while enjoying those mood lifting songs .

Comfortable winds blowing through , with cheerful lighting around the riverside, everybody , with all ages melts in the charm of that cooling luxury .
Afterwards , we moved closer to the river bank
having pleasure of the breathtaking night view.
By that time around 9:30pm , we were luck to meet up the great popular Hotel Laser music water show at here , the Esplanade.
It is a wonderful dreamy scene of lighting water reflections with cheerful music rhythm , projected at the Marina Bay Sands , around 15 to 20 minutes time.
That 3D laser colourful lighting up the whole the Bay , with Musical Bass gives much astonishing visual enjoyment of times .
* There is another version of laser show free entertainment at the Maria Bay Sands there , featuring with dancing fountain with animated effects.

When comes to season of May in Singapore , with soft wind blows ,it is much cheerful time to travel suburb towns eg Buena Vista ~ for chilling out.
A comfortable day , of a leisure weekend for simple cheer of my soul .

Buena Vista as a subdivision of One-north and Holland Drive . As for a residential area for both localers and foreign born citizens , plus young professional groups.
Besides , it is also an energetic town as the University Town near by .
Therefore, the area attributes with both comfortable living patterns, and beautiful nature ambience.
That is , great for developing study minds , creative abilities, positive spiritual /Zen practice , drawing etc.
Furthermore , the region featuring with 2 of joy-appearing shopping plazas , the Star Vista and the Rochester Mall featuring cultural diversity lifestyle for the Neighbourhood to all ages ~ from young to mature groups .

Passed through from the Buena Vista station , I walked around the neighbourhood town and gladly be meeting with cheerful of singing birdies , plus having fresh breath of glassy scent . That natural scenery gives much joy to my mind.
Around 5 minutes distance , I reached the cross junction ~ noticed that a big park just opposite to the Vista Exchange Green.
Off the road , Immediately met up a big grassy playground ~ . the main road connected a few of side paths .
A short walk down from the right side, crystal water sound guided me to a beautiful fountain garden with a cooling corner of an outdoor area , ~ The Cali Cafe ~ at the Park Avenue Hotel .
Cali cafe is not only surrounded by greenery garden court , but it also features with a leisure getaway of dynamic city pulse.
Then ,I walked through the Cali Garden , then at the reception, greeting the service supervisor with some ft manner , who guided my table opposite to a large window wall offering a good view of the stunning garden .

It was 4:30pm , still crowd with many guests at Cali here , students , Hotel guests , university connections and local localers.
A short while, pleasant smell of garlic toast and drinks delivered to my table.
Rich spread of butter garlic toast mixed with but cheesy flavor . Amazingly that bread piece with soft texture but crispy at edges. Each bite gave me a great delightful enjoyment. While the vingertee salad delights just good matched with the bread dish.
That is unforgettable tasty with such ultimate Savour than I tried at the other grill bars .
After all , with Mouthwatering BBQ scent approached by ~ The Cali Winglets.
Exciting of that TOP Choice at Cali . I took a little bit of crispy chicken skin with honey sweet and bit of spicy flavour. Mentime, tender juicy chicken meat with rich Savour of homemade sauce.
That chicken dish served with garden salad delights that was a good Refreshment after those churchy bites.
With such incredible tasty dish , a can of iced Coke would be perfectly matched .

Amazingly , at here , it seems that the time Current slowly passes through .
It would probably at Cali here , with delightful ambience and relaxing dining rhythm.
During night time , the dining hall brights up with Relaxing Marigold Color lightings , creating such a dreamy Fantasy .
I gladly found that guests also much enjoyed such joy-appearing moments with cheerful talks and smile around .

Then , my main dish and fried sprouts came with mouthwatering smoky scent around tables .
The crispy salmon ~
Again with same surprise me with that crispy Salmon Skin ~ texture felt like having potato chips .
Besides , the tender fish meat cooked with fresh sweet flavor that I would like to sprinkle bit of black pepper on that to stimulate my appetite.
The fish dish also came with creamy cheesy potato mash , such grateful to a cheese lover like me.
Also , few of crunchy grilled Veg side with the smoothly mash that I gladly dipped on ~ with homemade gravy .
While my extra order of stirred Fried butterly sprouts gave a wonderful tasty , chewy and natural sweet of vegetables.
It was such a incredible dinner night at the Cali Cafe of Rochester. Not a word to describe for my delightful enjoyment.
So , if you are looking for a leisure weekend , please come around Buona Vista , and dropped by The Cali Cafe at Rochester . That is much Holiday Worthy for you, your friends and family .

When the water temperature dropping , it is recommanded to put on some more hotwater up to your comfortable temperature . That could relief daily tireness, and stress.
Take some water or tea , even some fruits during the bathtimes, it is much more refreshing.

High-tech function with clear standard icons, offering heat seat , airfreshing , systemized of flushing etc.
Also it attached with washing basin on top of the PC toliet , which auto runs the clean water at the same flushing time . That gives convience for clean handwashing , more spacious and water saving purposes as well.

A set of 4 seat cusions with freely set out eg a big arms chair , a square shape cushion bed , 2 of park-style chair etc. A bit simiar rhythm as funky musical chairs, that my neice and nephew were busy playing around with these magic cushions.
Moreover, spacious Tatami style floor for freely sit or lying on postures , great for stregy legs and relief body tireness , even just for hours of rest .
When the bedtime comes , great appreciation for the easy set out of the Futon Beds.
Simply take out the softy mattrass and spreadsheet from the closet and putting that on the Tatami area.
Two kids competed for the futon beds , enjoying their rolling up fun for a short while before their sleeping times .

At Breakfast times , at the radiant kitchen ,
we loved to prepare some simple dishes from the local harvast and neighbour cities food products ~ eg miso soup comes with konbu (seaweed) sauce of dry undon noodle , side by fried Tofu balls & fresh steam spinch. Also , together with aleo vera yogurt , fresh soy milk , honey sausage and cheesy buns that all of these are amazingly taste good. We all praised for these local delights.

Surround by the of pleasure attractions that the Carlton City Singapore, greeted me at the back street of the Tanjong Pager MRT station.
Certainly , much falling in the beauty shrine of the hotel open-aired garden pool would be the main reason brought me there.
Besides , I was impressed by the neighborhood day and night lifestyle giving me a living happiness than ever ~ from hawker cafes to high-ended drinking bars.
Another , one of their sweet touch would be the fancy guest room with double -sized glassy bathroom, loving the make-up corner with huge mirror together with the admirable bath tub , specially for my beauty bath enjoyment.

Meanwhile , the most captive my eyes would be the hotel outdoor garden pool where the round roof garden court attached with the cooly water pool , sided by the sun bath chair alleys , what a beauty workmanship !!
That is my cooly heaven, loving there for restoring my comfort during my stays.
